Neste trabalho de Fábio Carvalho, percebemos a temática da investigação do "landscape", sugerida como uma das formas de estudo e aprofundamento dos alargamentos conceituais que a imagem reflete no atual momento.

Fábio nos apresenta suas fotografias restituídas exatamente do ponto onde a lente perde seu poder de foco, ou de resíduos de imagens fotográficas. Suas paisagens são a busca pelo que a própria imagem despreza. São ampliações que respeitam códigos matemáticos de proporção, ampliados até 100 vezes do seu real tamanho na matriz fotográfica.

São pequenas relíquias contidas em uma imagem fotográfica, que ficam desprezadas nas cantoneiras das fotos, mas que se reorganizam em paisagens sublimes e poéticas.

Observar que nestes trabalhos é presente uma atitude que não relativiza apenas o deleite visual, mas também há uma profunda reflexão, nos faz pensar o quanto deste material está embutido em nossos percursos cotidianos, e que ali silenciosamente estão fragmentos prontos a construir infinitos universos poéticos, que certamente dariam então mais conforto, do que o fato de não percebê-los.

In this work by Fábio Carvalho, we notice as subject the investigation of the "landscape", suggested as one of the ways of studying and deepening the conceptual widening that the image reflects nowadays.

Fábio presents us his recovered photographs exactly from the point where the lenses loses their ability to focus, or from residues of photographic images. His landscapes are the search of what the image despises itself. They are magnified respecting mathematical rules of proportion, extended up to 100 times of its real size on the original photograph.

They are small relics contained in a photographic image, that are rejected in the angles of the photos, but that are rearranged as sublime and poetical landscapes.

To observe that in these works resides an attitude that does not relativize only the visual delight, but there is also a deep reflection, make us think on how much of this material is inlaid in our daily journeys, and that right there are these quietly awaiting fragments, ready to create infinite poetical universes, that would then certainly give more comfort, than to not notice them.
