Este trabalho foi especialmente desenvolvido para a exposição "Transfoto", realizada na Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage. Como "matéria-prima" para a criação das pessoas inexistentes, utilizou-se fotos de alunos e ex-alunos da própria EAV.

Cada retrato foi impresso em tamanho natural (1:1). Estas fotos foram afixadas diretamente sobre a parede, ficando cada rosto exatamente na altura da cabeça do artista. A seqüência de rostos cobria duas paredes opostas da galeria, formando um corredor de pessoas inexistentes, sendo que de um lado ficavam as mulheres, e exatamente em frente, os homens. O espectador era obrigado a caminhar por este corredor para ver os retratos.

Multi-springers

This work was especially developed for the exhibition "Transfoto", at Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage (School of Visual Arts of Parque Lage). As "raw material" for the creation of the non-existing people, pictures of students and ex-students of the Art School were used.

Each picture was printed in natural size (1:1). The photos had been affixed directly to the wall, each face was exactly at the same height of the head of the artist. The sequence of faces covered two opposing walls of the gallery, forming a corridor of non-existing people; in one side there were only women, and exactly in front of them, the men. The spectator was obliged to walk through this corridor to see the pictures.
